Amazing location and fantastic hospitality.

I can’t say enough about our stay at SM Mellini Relais. We will definitely be back. First, the hospitality is top-notch and Matteo and Virginia were incredibly responsive and accommodating. They also had wonderful suggestions for restaurants and tours that did not disappoint. The location can’t be beat, we were in walking distance to the Vatican, Pantheon, Spanish steps and Trevi fountain and the absolute best pizza I’ve ever had was a 5 minute walk from the B&B. Beds, bedding and pillows were dreamy and super comfortable. The breakfasts were lovely and the service was great, my requests for a second cappuccino were always met with a smile.

Absolutely nothing! We will be back.

We really enjoyed our stay! It exceeded our expectations.

We loved the comfort of the bed and air conditioning. The room was comfy and airy and just what we were looking for! Location was excellent.

The breakfast could be improved upon. To be a place that "includes breakfast" as an amenity there wasn't a very big selection. Mostly pastries. I have food intolerances so it would help to include at least a couple of options like fruit or cold meats and cheeses.

It was amaizing, much more than what we expected. Matteo and the lady from reception were very nice and the place is very confortable, clean with a great location. We just walked to the Vatican and to the Coliseum.

Fantastic super comfy & modern rooms in the heart of historic district.

Very clean. Super comfortable beds. The location is unbeatable and the host and staff are all spectacular. The rooms are a bit small but that is typical for Rome and the rooms are beautiful and super modern. And the fact that the rooms have a second twin bed for our little one was fantastic. In addition to the plush King size bed for us. We usually stay in hotels and would highly recommend this place.

Lovely stay in Rome (first time visitors)

Modern decor, with a nod to the original building (beautiful ceilings and panelling), the room was clean and comfortable. Matteo and staff were extremely helpful and friendly, offering recommendations for restaurants and were quick to respond to messages. The location was central between all major landmarks - Colosseum, Vatican City, Trevi Fountain etc. Breakfast was especially lovely, each day you select your order for the following morning (including your desired time) and the next day it is delivered to your door on a table.

There wasn't anything we didn't like about our stay. Thank you Matteo and team

Excellent property, excellent location, excellent staff, all the photos online are accurate

This B&B is amazing, the location is very good. It's about 6 minutes walk from the bus stop that the bus leaves you at from. the airport. The place itself is located in an old apartment building but is beautifully modernised and spotless clean. The staff including Matteo (the owner) were amazing, they were friendly, had tons of good advice and suggestions for some of the best places to eat none of which were expensive. the rooms are beautiful, modernised with dropped ceilings which showcase the older painted ceilings. Breakfast is order the day before and arrives at your door at the time of your choosing. There is an excellent selection for food items and drinks hot or cold, all was fresh and delicious. I highly recommend this property, I travelled with my son and he loved it too. its about 13 minutes walk from the Vatican and about the same from the Trevi fountain its central to most attractions.

Perfect!

Everything was extremely clean, aesthetically pleasing, well organized and the staff were very helpful, friendly and nice. The location of the B&B is also very good, situated right in the center of Rome, in the proximity of all the important tourist spots, yet in a quiet location.
